Gold Paw reserves the right to reschedule appointments and events due to inclement weather and/or unsafe travel conditions, or illness/injury. We will make every effort to notify you as soon as we decide that we must reschedule your pet's appointment or an event. We do not take the decision to reschedule lightly, and if we must reschedule an appointment, it will be given high priority.

Cancellation (House Calls):

Gold Paw understands that unexpected circumstances can result in a cancelled or rescheduled appointment. If you’re unable to keep a confirmed appointment and need to reschedule or cancel, please do so as soon as possible to avoid potential fees.

You may cancel or reschedule an appointment 48 hours or more before your confirmed appointment with no fee. For appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of a confirmed appointment, you may be charged 50% up to a full appointment fee at the discretion of Gold Paw.

Turn-Key (House Calls):

There will be an initial fee charged for turn-key service to acquire a key box if a garage code isn't available. This key box should be present on front or back door at time of service. Failure to do so will result in a full appointment fee.

Gold Paw is not liable for any damage that may result from turn-key service.

Senior and Special Needs Pets:

A pet is considered senior if they are 8 years or older. The nail trim process may be stressful for senior and special needs pets and although Gold Paw will take all possible precautions during the nail trim process, the stress may lead to unfavorable reactions or medical emergencies. Gold Paw and/or its employees shall not be held liable.


Safety and Behavior:

We care about the safety of all pets and people. As such, Gold Paw reserves the right to refuse service to any pet. If a pet attempts to bite during their appointment, the service may not be completed and may be referred to a full service groomer or veterinarian.

Any pet with behavioral issues that are not referred to a full service groomer or veterinarian is required to stay on a 1-4 week schedule with Gold Paw to aid in training and becoming accustom to the nail trim process.

Should a pet suffer from an injury that is determined to be at the fault of Gold Paw, all related veterinary expenses will be reimbursed. Gold Paw will require an itemized copy of the bill before reimbursing.


Our services are meant to train your pet to become accustom to regular nail trim maintenance. Gold Paw, LLC will not refund for services that are not completed due to behavioral issues.

For Turn Key service, if payment is not received prior to your appointment or cash was not left in an obvious location, you will receive an invoice that must be paid by end of the same business day to avoid a $5 late fee added to your ticket. Another $5 will be added for each day the ticket remains unpaid. We recommend you consider our VIP packages to help avoid these fees.

VIP packages will add credit to your account. We will notify you when your package is coming to an end.


Gold Paw will never sell your information to third parties, all information is stored in a client management system for record keeping and communication purposes.

Communication from Gold Paw includes text messages and emails for appointment confirmations and occasional marketing.

Gold Paw may take photos of your pet for their files, website, social media and advertising purposes. All photos are the property of Gold Paw.


Gold Paw is a separate entity licensed and insured. Any facility hosting a nail trim event is not liable for any damages or injury.


Any disagreements that cannot be settled are to be sent through mediation and then arbitration.
