At Gold Paw, we believe in honest, straightforward pricing so you always know what to expect before your pet’s appointment.

Our grooming prices are based on your pet’s size, coat type, and the condition of their coat, as well as their behavior during the service. Because every pet is different, we do not offer one-size-fits-all pricing.

What our “starting price” means

Our starting price reflects the cost for pets who are:

• On a regular 6-week grooming schedule, and

• Arriving in well-maintained condition for their breed and coat type.

Pets who go longer between appointments, have heavier coats, or require additional time and care may be priced higher based on their individual needs.

Additional fees you should know about

In addition to your grooming service, the following fees may apply when relevant:

• Care Fee ($5) – This supports the extra time, staffing, and resources we dedicate to your pet’s safety, comfort, and individualized handling.

• Credit Card Processing Fee (Client Portion) – A small 2% is added when paying by card to cover part of the processing cost. (You are always welcome to pay by debit card, cash or check to avoid this fee.)

• Matting or Pelted Coat Fee – If your pet has moderate to severe matting or a pelted coat, additional time and specialized handling are required. This fee reflects the extra labor, tools, and care needed to safely complete the service.

• Behavior Handling Fee – If your pet requires additional handling, calming techniques, or extra staff support due to stress, anxiety, or difficult behavior, a fee may be added to ensure we can safely and humanely groom them.
